Sakaja flags off 24 new garbage trucks, unveils plan for Green Nairobi Company
Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja unveiled 24 new refuse compactor trucks at City Hall on Thursday as part of efforts to enhance waste management across the city.
Rapper Kennedy Ombima, popularly known as King Kaka, and content creator Carter Ninifelly Owiti, widely recognized as Nana Owiti, have officially ended their relationship after 13 years together.
In a joint statement, the couple shared that the decision came after "much reflection and consideration", emphasizing that it was not an easy choice.
While they did not disclose the reasons for their separation, King Kaka and Nana Owiti affirmed their commitment to maintaining a respectful and supportive friendship as they move forward.
Further, they highlighted their dedication to co-parenting their three children, prioritizing their well-being and stability.
"Over the course of 13 years, we have shared countless memories, built a life together, and most importantly raised three incredible children who will always be our top priority," they said.
The couple, whose relationship has often been in the public eye, expressed gratitude to their fans for their unwavering support over the years. They also requested privacy during this transitional period:
"As public figures, we recognize that our personal lives may attract attention, but we kindly ask for privacy and understanding during this time as we navigate this transition as a family."
The pair reassured fans that their focus remains on their children, stating:
"They are the heart of everything we do, and their happiness and well-being will always come first. We are grateful for the love and support we have received throughout our journey together and we ask for your continued kindness as we take this next step."
This announcement follows months of speculation about the state of their relationship earlier in 2024. At the time, King Kaka dismissed the rumors and issued a stern warning to bloggers to refrain from involving family matters in their content.
“I don’t clout chase especially when it comes to family issues, neither does Nana. I was not even going to address this but the fact that it’s touching family, I have to,” King Kaka said.
