The eagerly awaited results for the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations are set to be released today.
Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba had earlier indicated in December 2024 that the results would be made public during the second week of January 2025.
The nationwide exams, which began on October 28, saw 965,501 candidates sitting their assessments in 10,755 examination centers across the country.
In his latest update, CS Ogamba disclosed that the Ministry of Education recorded 621 cases of exam malpractice in 198 centers. To address this, the government engaged 32,800 examiners, an increase from 29,876 in 2023, ensuring efficient and accurate marking.
Additionally, the Cabinet Secretary confirmed that the marking of the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) exams has already been finalized.
